Cakes wins Audience Choice Award at Northern Festival of Cinema festival

Delighted to announce that Cakes! won the audience choice award at the Northern Festival of Cinema festival in Newcastle on Sunday 23rd June. Director Johnny Herbin was at the event which also marked its festival debut. The film is off to a promising start.

Cakes to premiere at Northern Festival of Cinema

Johnny Herbin’s latest short film ‘Cakes!’, will premiere at the Northern Festival of Cinema in Newcastle on 23 June 2024. I was delighted to be asked once again to edit and produce this short film for Johnny. Looking at my IMDb page, I noticed that Cakes also marks my 25th film edit.

Release date set for Michael Cooke’s Care and Repair.

I am delighted to announce that post production work on Michael Cooke’s directorial debut, Care and Repair, finished last week and that a release date has been set for the short film. The film, which was shot in Greenock, will be released to film festivals on 27 October 2023.
